Hockey background: I have been playing hockey for more than 25 years and I have had the privilege of representing South Africa for the past 10 years, playing 124 matches at two Olympic Games, two World Cups and two Commonwealth Games.

Having represented both Bellville Hockey Club and Central Hockey club in my youth, I have a great deal of affinity towards the development and proper administration of hockey at all levels as I know how important the foundation of any aspiring hockey player is in order to really have the best experience not only to be professional but to participate in the sport we all love.

Current occupation: Qualified lawyer, currently working as a Jurist in Paris, France for Mayer Brown.

Portfolio: Governance portfolio. Like a true South African, I love my God, I love family and I love sport. I am truly a product of the line that sport has the power to change the world and I am trying to live in a way that will provide hope and opportunity for many more out there, whether in sport or in life.
